Application Administrators collaborate with Software Engineers, Software Architects, and other stakeholders in an XP/Agile environment to install, configure, customize, and maintain vendor-purchased applications. 

Areas to Shine:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current state and design solutions that meet business/IT requirements. Assist in the definition of business requirements, scope, work effort and duration estimation.

  • Support daily system administration responsibilities, including but not limited to: system setup and customization, user setup, user training, case submittal to software vendor, user troubleshooting, software updates and routine maintenance. Perform upgrades and proactively monitor event logs for changes and errors.

  • Suggest, implement, and maintain solutions between the supported application and integrated third party application.

  • Proactively research and locate the necessary tools and processes to improve functionality, and track problems and incidents to resolution. 

  • Create and maintain system procedures, providing training and documentation as required to successfully support solutions.

Over the Top Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of SDK development and third party integration.

  • Experience administering Software tools like ElasticSearch, .NET Core, Camunda, TFS/AzDOS.

  • Experience working with custom form builder to extend functionality, creating custom reports, and modifying existing forms to apply custom business logic.

  • Skilled in creating triggers to capture events and apply business rules.

  • Experience with Linux OS.

  • Experience with Powershell.

  • Experience in Software Development.
