Change Management Specialist

As a Change Management Specialist, you guide and support safe, predictable changes to Veterans United’s environments in ways that promote stability while enabling business innovation. You foster continuous improvement of our change and release processes and tools to support specific business objectives.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Collaborate and lead creation, implementation and refinement of foundational standards for all change, configuration, and release management processes, automation, and education.

  • Ensure appropriate coordination, preparation, and execution of system environment changes and production migrations, leading complex change planning as necessary.

  • Develop and deliver reports, forecasts, and corresponding analysis that provide meaningful insights to inform decisions around change and release management.

  • Continually grow technical skills, teamwork and agile practices, while remaining knowledgeable on industry guidelines and best practices.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity.

  • 4+ years of experience in IT Change Management, IT Release Management, Application Development, System Administration and/or IT Operations OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Adept at conducting new product research.

  • Experience building and managing content in a Content Management System, like Confluence.
