Veterans United's SEO (search engine optimization) team is looking for passionate individuals interested in  content marketing and search engine optimization (SEO).

As a content marketer, you utilize your skills to ideate, research, develop, edit, and optimize content for our family of brands.

We specifically look for applications excited by the thought of producing amazing pieces of content, getting more traffic, generating leads, A/B testing ideas, sifting through data for insights and more. 

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include the following:

  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.

  • Write content for websites, applying search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.

  • Ideate, research, develop and edit written content for our family of brands.

  • Track search engine rankings for high-value keywords and use findings to optimize those pages better, increase traffic and generate leads.

  • Remain knowledgeable on industry practices and continuously seek potential areas for improvement.

As content-driven SEO, we strive to provide the best, most helpful content to Veterans and homebuyers. To do this, you'll need to demonstrate these attributes:

  • A high aptitude for writing and grammar.

  • Creativity and the ability to think outside of the box.

  • Problem-solving and the ability to understand why a page lost or gained traffic.

  • An entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to look for new and better ways to perform tasks.

  • Knowledge of basic SEO principles, content development, branding, story pitching, etc.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Semrush, or similar software.

  • Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company.

  • A self-starter, able to tackle projects and produce in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • A basic understanding of HTML.
