As an Information Security Policy Analyst, you will be the primary caretaker of the Information Security library, ensuring we have the right policies and documents to provide guidance and meet compliance requirements for the handling and protection of our customer and employee data. Additionally, you will assist with internal and external audits, third-party questionnaires, and regulatory requirements.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain appropriate information security policies and supporting documentation.  

  • Stay up to date and track regulatory requirements as it pertains to information security working closely with other departments such as Compliance and Legal. Educate stakeholders as necessary.

  • Identify gaps in policies and controls using mapping between standards such as NIST, FFIEC, PCI, etc.

  • Conduct information security audits and assist stakeholders with action plans on identified findings.

  • Assist with the completion of and tracking of external audits and third-party questionnaires.

  • Maintain team sites and documentation.

  • Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards governing various aspects of the utilization of computer systems.

  • Understanding of data privacy concerns, defense-in-depth principles, and architectural controls.

  • Experience influencing others without positional control

  • General knowledge in accounting, computer system development, and cybersecurity

  • Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company

  • Regular and predictable attendance
