Paddio is seeking a Flex Loan Specialist (loan originator) to join the team. Paddio is an online mortgage company licensed across the country to serve borrowers through their loan process and specialize in conventional and FHA loans. We are seeking highly competitive individuals to play a key sales role in our growing company through loan origination.
We are seeking individuals who can work over 50% of their monthly hours during the evenings and weekends ( after 5pm CST or any time Saturday or Sunday). You will have a high degree of flexibility on when you choose to work each week. Due to the nature of when customers tend to be available, a higher earning potential is more likely during the evening and weekend hours. Flex Loan Specialists are granted the opportunity to set their own schedule within these guidelines. If you’re someone who works best with set schedules, our leaders are happy to guide you in creating your schedule once you get started with us.
As a Flex Loan Specialist at Paddio, you help borrowers understand and get them started with the process to obtain a loan. You will often serve as the first point of contact with borrowers and will have a primary focus of handling and calling customer leads, which will make up the majority of the day-to-day objectives for this role. Customer leads are provided to all employees as hot/warm leads and there is no cold calling. Being comfortable selling and making connections over the phone are vital to succeed in this role.
This role is a great first step into the mortgage/finance industry where mortgage experience is a plus, but not a necessity. We are eager to teach you all the things you need to know to be successful.

As a Loan Specialist you will learn about a variety of loan products, the loan origination process, and play a key role in fulfilling Paddio's vision of making homeownership more achievable for all. Duties may vary upon assignment but include:

Make initial contact and respond promptly to customer inquiries to collect borrower financial and credit information.

Educate borrowers on loan process and mortgage product choices.

Interview borrowers to obtain and/or verify information and documentation.

Analyze borrowers’ credit for prequalification or denial of loan applications.

Process borrower credit information through online approval system.

Inform borrowers on future loan documentation requests, including borrowers' income and asset information.
