Quality Assurance Engineer - St. Louis Area

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you help agile teams rapidly deliver high quality products through testing, inquiring, experimenting, collaborating, automating and continuously improving testing and software delivery methods in order to support specific business objectives.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Partner with product delivery team to create test plans, conduct manual exploratory, functional and regression tests for new and updated systems.

  • Partner with product delivery team to create, execute and maintain automated test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality assurance considerations.

  • Analyze root cause of identified defects and eradication required; partner with product delivery team to eliminate defects.

  • Lead evaluation and implementation of new QA-related tools and processes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity.

  • Experience in Agile Methodologies.

  • Proficient using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Demonstrated experience with building, executing, and maintaining automated tests.

  • Experience with scripting or programming languages and/or automated test tools.

  • Experience using agile project and bug tracking tools.

  • Experience in context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing.

  • Experience in an Agile/XP environment, collaborating with programmers and business experts.

  • Working knowledge of software development languages and concepts.

  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, including testing, development, and design.
