As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for performing quality control reviews to ensure all loan documents, as well as the origination, processing, and underwriting of loans, are in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines for Neighbors Bank.
We're looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, Audit and/or Underwriting.
We are looking for someone to join us remotely in Missouri.
Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

Conduct internal quality control audits that meet agency timing and sampling requirements. Coordinate with quality control vendors on loan selection, sending loans to the vendor, and reviewing audit findings.

Perform file reviews and generate reports for pre-funding, adverse action, and due diligence. Work with quality control vendors to perform post-closing and early payment default reviews.

Analyze audit findings for trends. Work with leaders, business partners, and vendors to produce reports and make recommendations for root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action plans. Regularly present summary reports of quality control activities.

Develop and maintain a quality control plan and procedures for origination.

Communicate effectively with key personnel and senior management in order to obtain responses to audit findings.

Assist with external exams and reviews, including preparing and reviewing loans files and questionnaire responses/rebuttals.

Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on federal and state laws and regulations as well as investor and agency guidelines related to mortgage origination.

Act as the administrator for Neighbors Bank quality control software.

Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
