As a Technical Owner, you will plan and negotiate product priorities to support the Infrastructure Services department for your specific systems. You are responsible for the overall coordination of requests to support and enhance your systems while ensuring alignment with Infrastructure strategy and priorities. You will plan, organize, prioritize and communicate requirements that are presented by all divisions within the company. Your primary focus will be to reduce roadblocks and optimize the team’s productivity.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Use appropriate artifacts to present information, such as plans, backlog lists, scheduled, burndown charts, user stories, change management plans, issue logs, testing plans and training plans.

  • Maintain the systems backlog and work-in-progress, ensuring work is prioritized appropriately and optimizing the team’s productivity.

  • Coordinate testing and verification as requested for successful completion of backlog requests.

  • Lead, initiate, and coordinate technical and business meetings as required to solve issues and gather requirements.

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with end users and the appropriate systems team to assure full understanding of requests, timelines, and status of enhancements and support for the product.

  • Maintain centralized repositories of critical documents for easy access and team communications.

  • Establish and maintain governance for systems testing, sprint management and monitoring.

  • Research and maintain up to date knowledge on your assigned system(s) to increase efficiencies.
