Veterans United Insurance Opportunities

A variety of positions contribute to the success of Veterans United Insurance including Insurance Agent, Customer Relations Agent, Insurance Quoting Specialist and Insurance Operations Specialist. Offices located in Jefferson City and Columbia, MO.

Job duties will vary by assignment but may include:

  • Educating customers on property and casualty insurance, selling insurance, and providing exemplary service to customers of Veterans United Insurance (VUI).

  • Effectively communicating with external customers, internal customers, and vendors to accomplish daily insurance tasks. Communicate regularly with our Operations/Processing team and Insurance Carriers to ensure accurate and sufficient policies are available from the customer to the loan team.

  • Determine Customers’ overall Insurance needs while providing agency standard options for Home, Auto, and other lines of Property and Casualty Insurance.

  • Maintaining our relationship with customers after an insurance policy has been issued and funded by Veterans United Insurance (VUI) and handling other service-related inquiries and calls.

  • Finding opportunities to bundle our customers’ insurance needs, offering additional products that suit the customers’ needs and quoting/presenting various insurance products.

  • Generate insurance quotes for Veterans United Insurance (VUI) customers. You receive, organize, and review customer information, proceeding with quoting multiple insurance carrier partners to assess best options for customers. The IQS team is a key extension of the sales team who prepares personal insurance quotes for multiple lines of business.

  • Work collaboratively with Insurance Agents to ensure an efficient process and positive customer experience.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Loan Officers, Carriers, and other partners to gather information, provide a great customer experience, and keep all parties updated/informed as necessary. 

  • Assist Loan Officers, Insurance Agents, Customer Relations Agents, and customers with all policy updates or change requests as well as other tasks associated with finalizing insurance policies for customers.
