Web Application Developer, Mortgage Research Center, LLC dba Veterans United Home Loans, Irving TX

Duties: Create and maintain web applications, back end services, database, and automated test suites using Microsoft .NET full stack technologies to support specific business objectives to help get more veterans and service men and women into homes. Deliver working software frequently using object-orientated principles, Model View Controller (MVC) architectural pattern in .Net core, and Object Relational Mappings (ORMs) via Extreme Programing (XP) practices and Agile principles (70%). Specific duties include: Using Angular with NgRx store, MVC with Razor, ReactJS, and Sass for designing front end wireframes; Developing .NET applications in the Cloud using Azure DevOps & build/release pipelines; Using Microservices architecture with Azure to deploy .NET applications in the cloud; Using TFS & GIT as a source control tool for code repositories and implementing WebAPI controllers to have the front end UI interact with the backend for retrieving & saving data with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, GraphQL and SQL Server, logging all exceptions at Splunk and setting alerts on exceptions. Incorporate the applications with Thycotic, LaunchDarkly, Fullystory, and Grafana for security. Participate in and contribute to whole team planning, retrospectives, and communication (25%), including interacting with the Architects, Product Owners, and Project Managers to translate the requirement into business logic in code using C#. Perform other duties as assigned, excluding licensed activity (5%).

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Applications, or related discipline, plus at least three years of related experience. Must have experience with developing and maintaining software applications. Must have experience in the Cloud using Azure DevOps or similar build/release pipelines management tools for CI/CD. Must have experience with micro services architecture applications. Must have experience with the following technology/tools: C#, .NET (or related object-oriented programming languages like Java), JavaScript, WebAPI, SQL Server or other relational databases, version control, issue tracking, and application lifecycle management tools.
